The 2020 Biserno Biserno Toscana IGT, a flagship wine and the calling card of the Tenuta di Biserno estate, is a classic Bordeaux blend from the estate's best vineyards. It presents itself in a deep ruby red and offers a fascinating bouquet of ripe red fruits, complemented by notes of undergrowth. On the palate, the wine shows itself to be powerful, lively and with a dense, elegant tannin structure, which leads to a long-lasting and wonderfully crisp finish.

Grape variety: 32% Cabernet Franc, 32% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot

Nose: Ripe red fruits, notes of undergrowth, hints of black fruits, spices, smoked tobacco and tar.

Taste: Full-bodied with a rich and profound structure. The wine reveals round tones of black fruits, spices and an elegant accent of gravel and pencil.

Food Pairing: Ideal with hearty meat dishes, game and mature cheese.

Tenuta di Biserno, founded in 2001 by the brothers Lodovico and Piero Antinori, is located in the municipality of Bibbona in the Alta Maremma, on the border of the historic village of Bolgheri. The estate covers 40 hectares at an altitude of 90 metres above sea level. The soils are very stony, mainly alluvial with calcareous clay and rich in calcium carbonate. The vineyards are mainly planted with Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot and benefit from the maritime influence of the nearby Mediterranean Sea and the different aspects of the various vineyards.
