The 2021 Ornellaia La Proporzione Bolgheri DOC Superiore Rosso from Tuscany's famous Tenuta dell'Ornellaia is an exquisite red wine blend in a 0.75 l quantity. This rich Italian cuvée opens with aromas of blackberries, dark fruits, cypress berries, and Mediterranean herbs, backed by a precise tannin structure. Awarded 99 points by James Suckling, it offers great elegance and outstanding aging potential through 2052.

The Ornellaia 2021, as usual, has an intense ruby red color and reveals notes of ripe berries and slight hints of vanilla and sweet tobacco in the nose. The wine has a velvety soft texture and a pleasant, enveloping mouthfeel that invites you to take a second sip. Its dense and at the same time elegant tannin structure carries the tasteful, beautifully persistent finish. The classic is a composition of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot and has a long shelf life in the cellar.
