In 1927, Celestino and Cesarina Simonini opened a slaughterhouse with a small adjoining shop. This was the foundation stone of today's company. After the birth of their two sons, Luigi and Raimondo, the slaughterhouse was converted into a production facility that has existed to this day.
The then and current headquarters is located in Castelvetro di Modena. Even today, all the classic Italian specialities such as Mortadella, Cotto, Coppa, Pancetta and Bresaola are produced here. The recipes have hardly changed, if at all.
Generation after generation learns the craft from an early age, nobody is too good for anything and each of the "Simoninis" has worked everywhere.
Certainly an important part of the recipe for success of this company.
