Tomato tortilla filled with fried No-Schnitzel, vegan mayonnaise and barbecue sauce. The tortilla is filled with plant-based meat made from the finest ingredients, crunchy red cabbage, romaine lettuce and onions. Enjoy this homemade plant-based specialty. Our plant-based dishes are filling, but won't make you tired.

This is the best. There really is no steak in it, and we swear by the taste. 
We made this sandwich together with Julia Ulrich, our fantastic chef. She taught us how to prepare vegan food so delicious that you will want to try more of it, even if you love meat. As Julia says, she founded The Green Garden to convince people who normally eat meat that they don't have to eat meat every day. And what can we say? Julia's food looks fantastic and tastes even better.

After trying Julia's dishes, we decided to launch a new, 100% plant-based line for Knuspr.de with her as head chef. Julia teaches us how to prepare her dishes.

How did we manage to make the schnitzel taste so good even though it doesn't contain any meat, you ask? Julia doesn't want to compromise on her recipes, so we use a meat alternative in this sandwich. And why? Because it tastes great.

About The Green Garden...

The founder of The Green Garden, Julia, actually wanted to study art history and Spanish. But at some point she had the idea for a vegan-vegetarian restaurant. She collected all the food trends and turned them into vegan specialties. She founded a successful vegan restaurant in Salzburg, which is also popular with meat-eaters, and turned her restaurant into a successful online business during the Covid19 pandemic.

Why is her concept so successful? She says eating a green garden is like eating a rainbow. Colorful food simply makes people happy.
