BioOrto's sun-dried tomatoes are produced in the traditional Apulian way on the Italian east coast and then preserved in organic EVO olive oil.
The marinade of organic extra virgin olive oil enhances their intense and distinctive flavor. Sun-dried tomatoes are highly versatile in cooking: ideal in antipasti and excellent for making gourmet sandwiches and pasta sauces!
The BioOrto company was founded in 2003 by Nino Passalacqua and remains family-owned to this day. At the foot of the Gargano National Park on the east coast of Italy, the company practices organic farming on a large scale.
