Pear Williams
The Williams Christ Pear from Italy is a traditional variety, known since 1770. Its skin transitions from greenish to golden yellow, often with a reddish sunny side. The flesh is yellowish-white, juicy, meltingly sweet, and highly aromatic. Ideal for fresh consumption, it's also excellent for compote or fruit brandy. This is a Class 1 pear, delivered chilled.

Evidence of the Williams Christ pear variety dates back to 1770. A fruit grower named Williams from London is said to have spread the variety at that time.
The skin of its fruits is initially greenish and later turns golden yellow. On the sunny side, it can turn reddish. The flesh is yellowish-white, juicy and meltingly sweet, with a strong aroma. The Williams Christ is particularly suitable for eating fresh, but can also be processed well as a compote or fruit brandy.
