The followfood tuna was caught off the Maldives using one of the most sustainable and ecological methods in the world: with rod and line, also known as "Pole and Line". The tuna are caught individually with fishing rods in the traditional way. Instead of electronic aids, flocks of birds show our fishers where the tuna are located. This method protects nature, avoids bycatch, safeguards stocks, and is therefore particularly close to nature and sustainable.
