Since the foundation of the Herzberger organic bakery in 1988, the company's goal has been to bake bread without any chemical or technical additives – only from flour, water and salt with a three-stage sourdough. Even in 1996, after moving to the new bakery in Fulda, Herzberger remained true to this approach. According to the motto "100% organic and real baking", they bake exclusively organic breads, rolls and baguettes in a wide variety.
