Peel the apple, remove the core, and slice the flesh. Place in a bowl and mix with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.

Season the meat thoroughly on all sides with salt and pepper and lightly dust with flour. Heat the oil in an oven-safe pan over high heat and sear the meat until golden brown on all sides. Remove from the pan and set aside.
