Chicken in Paprika Sauce with Noodles

Top chef Honza Bureš brings one of the most popular Czech classics to the table with this dish: tender chicken in creamy paprika sauce with noodles.

The base is farmhouse chicken meat, which is first seared, dusted with noble sweet paprika, and then slowly braised – this keeps it wonderfully juicy and aromatic. Refined with cream and a little butter, it creates a velvety sauce whose taste evokes childhood memories.

Preparation

• Heat sauce with meat in a bain-marie for approx. 10 minutes over low heat – do not boil.

• Alternatively, heat sauce in a pot over low heat, stirring constantly.

• Cook noodles in bubbling boiling, lightly salted water for approx. 8 minutes until al dente.

Storage

• Store chilled at 0–4 °C

• Consume immediately after opening

• Do not reheat
