Preheat the oven to 220 °C top/bottom heat.

In a small bowl, mix the strained tomatoes with the tomato paste and dried oregano to form a smooth sauce.

Wash and halve the cherry tomatoes. Briefly blanch the spinach leaves with boiling water, rinse with cold water, and drain well.

Chef's tip

For an extra crispy touch, you can briefly toast the pita bread in the toaster before adding the toppings.
