Frisch gebackener Hefeteig trifft auf eine herzhafte Füllung aus saftigem Hähnchenbrustschinken, geschmolzenem Edamer und aromatischem Oregano. First, prepare the dough: place the yeast, 150 ml of lukewarm milk, and sugar in a bowl and let it rest for about 5–10 minutes until the yeast is activated. Then add the flour, oregano, 1 tsp of salt, and olive oil. Knead the dough until it is smooth and supple (a food processor can also be used for this). Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.

In the meantime, line a baking sheet with baking paper.

Shaping and filling

Divide the dough into 4 equal parts. Roll each part out into a rectangle and cut into 3 triangles. Spread ketchup on the triangles, then top with cheese and ham. Roll them up from the wide side towards the tip. Place the crescents seam-side down on the baking sheet so they do not open up during baking. Repeat with the remaining dough.
