Ingredients
- 2 packs ready-made pizza dough (280 g each)
- 200 g peeled canned tomatoes
- 100 g crème fraîche
- 100 g Prosciutto Crudo
- 125 g mozzarella
- 1 red onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp dried herbs de Provence
- 1 handful pitted black olives
- 1 handful fresh basil
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
Instructions
- 1Finely dice the red onion and sauté in a pan with one tablespoon of olive oil until golden brown. Add the pressed garlic and roast briefly. Stir in the canned tomatoes, season with herbs de Provence, salt, and pepper. Let the sauce simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes until most of the liquid has evaporated.
- 2Remove the pan from the heat, stir in the crème fraîche, and finely purée the sauce. Roll out the pizza dough on a baking sheet and generously spread with the tomato sauce. Top with Prosciutto Crudo. Slice the mozzarella and arrange it on the pizza to look like small ghosts. Create faces for the ghosts and small spiders from the black olives.
- 3Bake the pizza in a preheated oven at 180 °C (fan-assisted) for about 15–20 minutes until the dough is crispy. Garnish with fresh basil before serving. The edges can be brushed with a little olive oil for extra shine.
Tip
For particularly crispy results, bake the pizza dough on a pizza stone.
