Ingredients
- 500 g Greek yogurt
- 300 g Cucumber
- 30 g Fresh mint
- 20 g Fresh chives
- 16 g Lemon juice
- 16 g Extra virgin olive oil
- 7 g Garlic
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Ground black pepper
Preparation
- 1Peel and finely grate the cucumber. Place the grated cucumber in a sieve hung over a bowl, lightly salt it, and let it drain for about 2 hours so that the tzatziki remains nicely creamy later.
- 2In a bowl, stir the Greek yogurt smooth with olive oil, lemon juice, and the pressed garlic. Finely chop the mint and chives and fold them into the yogurt mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
- 3Stir the well-drained cucumber into the yogurt mixture. Let the tzatziki chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving, so that the flavors can develop optimally.
