Ingredients

  • 500 grams mixed minced meat
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 5 predominantly waxy potatoes
  • 500 grams kidney beans (1 can)
  • 100 g can corn (1 small can)
  • 1 onion
  • 200 grams canned chopped tomatoes
  • 250 milliliters whole milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 small garlic clove
  • 1 tbsp vegetable broth powder
  • Salt
  • Ground pepper

Preparation

    Finely dice the onion and garlic and sauté both in a large pot with a little olive oil until translucent. Then add the minced meat and fry vigorously until crispy. Afterwards, add the canned chopped tomatoes with their juice, vegetable broth powder, whole milk, as well as oregano, cinnamon, and cumin, and bring to a boil.

    Drain the kidney beans and corn well. Peel the potatoes and dice them finely. Also cut the bell pepper into small pieces. Add the potato pieces along with the bell pepper pieces, kidney beans, and corn to the pot.

    Let everything simmer for about 10 minutes and season mildly with salt and pepper.

If you're already a grown-up cowboy, you can also add fresh chili.
