Preheat the oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat.

Wash the Hokkaido pumpkin, deseed it, and cut it into coarse pieces. Peel the garlic cloves. Place both in a baking dish.

Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and roast in the oven for approx. 20–30 minutes until soft.
Chef's tip
For a particularly intense aroma, you can use red Kampot pepper.
