Preparation of the Rice Skillet

First, cook the rice: Add 300 ml water to a small pot, add the whole grain long-grain rice, cover with a lid, and cook over medium heat for approx. 20–25 minutes (or according to package instructions).

Meanwhile, heat a coated pan over medium heat. Add the ground turkey and halved cherry tomatoes and season with salt, pepper, oregano, and cumin. Mix everything well and fry for approx. 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. After this time, turn off the heat and leave the meat mixture in the pan until the rice is ready.

Slice the black olives thinly. Once the rice is cooked, add it along with the olives to the meat mixture in the pan and mix everything well.
