Preparation method

Peel and finely chop the onions and garlic. Roughly tear the basil.

Heat a pan over medium heat, melt sunflower oil and butter in it. Add the gnocchi to the pan and fry for 7–8 minutes until golden brown, stirring constantly.

Add the chopped onions and garlic and sauté everything together for another 3–4 minutes over medium heat.
Chef's tip
For an extra crispy touch, you can briefly gratinate the gnocchi with the mozzarella in the oven before serving.
