Apples from Lake Constance
The Jonagold apple variety was bred in 1943 at the Cornell University Experiment Station in Geneva, USA.
Its large to very large fruits have a greenish-yellow and carmine red skin on the sunny side. The flesh is firm, sweet, juicy and aromatic. It is suitable for eating fresh, as well as for baking and cooking.
