Wash the apples, core them, and cut them into slices about 0.5 cm thick. Use a small cookie cutter or knife to circularly remove the core from the center, creating rings.

Cut the puff pastry into 10 equal strips.

Wrap each apple ring with a strip of dough by threading the dough through the central opening and evenly laying it around the ring. One strip is enough for one apple ring.

Chef's tip

Serve the apple rings warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an especially fine dessert.
