Wash the organic orange thoroughly, rub it dry, and finely grate the zest. Squeeze the juice from one half.

Sift the flour with the baking cocoa, baking powder, and 70 g of powdered sugar into a bowl. Add the whisked egg, soft butter, orange zest, and 1 tsp of orange juice. Knead everything into a smooth, slightly sticky dough. Wrap the dough in cling film and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

Baking

Preheat the oven to 200 °C top/bottom heat. Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Sift the remaining powdered sugar into a deep plate.

Chef's tip

In an airtight container, the cookies will stay fresh and moist for about 7 days.
