Preparation method

Roughly chop the hazelnuts and almonds. In a large bowl, mix with the rolled oats, gingerbread spice, and a pinch of salt.

Stir the coconut oil (if solid, briefly warm it) with the honey until smooth. Add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients and mix everything thoroughly until all flakes and nuts are evenly coated. This works best with your hands.

Preheat the oven to 170 °C (top/bottom heat). Line a baking sheet with baking paper and spread the granola mixture evenly on it. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes until golden brown. Carefully stir halfway through to ensure even toasting.
