Preparation method

In a bowl, thoroughly mix quark, shredded coconut, finely ground almonds, and honey. Let the mixture firm up in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Form small balls from the chilled mixture with your hands. Press a whole almond into the center of each ball and then roll the ball in the remaining shredded coconut.

Chill the finished balls again for about 5 minutes before serving.

Chef's tip

For a vegan version, you can replace the quark with a plant-based alternative (e.g., soy quark) and the honey with maple syrup.
