- 140 g beetroot
- 250 g carrots
- 20 g ginger
- 150 g apple
- 125 ml orange juice
- 110 ml lime juice
Peel the beetroot, carrots, apple, and ginger and cut them into smaller pieces depending on the size of your blender. For powerful stand blenders, it's often enough to halve the fruit and vegetables and cut the ginger into coarse pieces.
Add the juice of the lime and half an orange (or ready-made juice) together with the prepared ingredients to the blender. Blend everything until the smoothie is completely smooth and creamy. If you don't have a stand blender, an immersion blender can also be used – blending will take a little longer, but will lead to the same result.
Chef's tip
For a particularly refreshing version, you can blend in a few ice cubes or chill the fruit in the refrigerator beforehand.
