Ingredients
- 20 g fresh mint
- 100 g white sugar
- 216 ml lemon juice
- 750 ml sparkling mineral water

- 1 handful ice cubes
Preparation
- 1Pluck the mint leaves and place them in a small pot. Add the sugar and 150 ml of water. Bring the mixture to a boil and simmer until the sugar has completely dissolved. Then let the mint syrup cool down.
- 2Pour the cooled syrup into a large pitcher and mix with the lemon juice. Add a large handful of ice cubes and top up with sparkling mineral water.
- 3Taste the lemonade and add more lemon juice as desired. Garnish with fresh mint sprigs and lemon slices in the pitcher and serve immediately ice-cold.
Tip
For an even more intense aroma, you can lightly crush the mint leaves in the syrup before straining it.
For a decorative touch, use ice cubes with small mint leaves or berries added before freezing.
