Preparation method

Ingredients overview

  • 500 ml plant-based milk
  • 50 g plant-based dark chocolate
  • 15 g baking cocoa
  • 15 g cane sugar
  • 1 piece ginger approx. 3 cm long
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • Plant-based whipped cream as desired

Finely chop the chocolate, peel the ginger piece and slice it. Add to a small pot with two cups of plant-based milk, cocoa powder, cane sugar, cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves.

Stir and heat (do not let it boil). Remove from the hob and let the spices steep in the hot milk for another 5 minutes.

Strain through a sieve into 2 cups and garnish as desired with plant-based whipped cream, grated chocolate, and cinnamon powder.
