Prepare an immersion blender, a deep bowl, and a non-stick pan.

Place the peeled bananas, eggs, whole spelt flour, milk, baking powder, and melted butter into the bowl. Thoroughly blend everything with the immersion blender until a smooth batter forms.

Heat the pan over medium heat. Drop a large spoonful of batter into the pan to form small pancakes (approx. 8 cm diameter). Cook the pancakes without additional fat for about 3 minutes per side until golden brown.

Chef's tip

Use ripe bananas with brown spots if possible – these are sweeter and easier to process.
