Preparation method

Bring salted water to a boil in a large pot. Cook the whole-wheat penne until al dente, about 14–15 minutes. Then drain.

Heat another large pot over medium heat. Sauté the carrot slices in it without fat (or with a splash of water) for about 3 minutes.

Add halved cherry tomatoes, olives, salt, pepper, dill, and vegetable broth. Reduce the heat and let everything simmer for about 5–6 minutes.

Chef's tip

For an extra fresh touch, you can add a squeeze of lemon juice over the pasta at the end.
