Ingredients
Preparation method
Slice the tomatoes into 12 slices. Cut the silver skin onions into fine rings. Cut the Kaiser rolls horizontally and toast the cut surfaces in a pan without fat over medium heat until golden brown.
Fry the bacon strips in a pan over medium heat until crispy. Season with a little pepper and paprika powder. Once they are golden brown on both sides, set aside on a plate.
Shape the minced beef into 4 patties the size of the buns and season both sides with salt and pepper. Fry the patties in the pan with the remaining bacon fat for about 3 minutes over medium heat. Then flip, place a teaspoon of butter on each patty, and fry for another 2 minutes.
Chef's tip
For an especially intense flavor, you can glaze the patties with a little BBQ sauce shortly before the end of the cooking time.
