Preparation method

Preheat the oven to 200 °C top/bottom heat (180 °C convection).

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the bacon on it. Cover with another piece of parchment paper and weigh down with a second baking sheet or a heavy dish. Bake in the oven at 200 °C for approx. 15 minutes.

Remove the top baking sheet and paper. Bake the bacon for another 3–5 minutes until golden brown and perfectly crispy.

Chef's tip

Lightly twist the noodles before filling them into the bun, so the sauce doesn't stick to the bun as easily.

Do not press the hot dog buns too firmly, so they retain their fluffy shape.
