- 180 g Mini Burger Buns
- 480 g Ground Beef
- 100 g Cheddar Cheese
- 50 g Romaine Lettuce
- 150 g Tomatoes
- 60 ml Barbecue Sauce
Form the ground beef into small patties, slightly larger than the mini buns. Heat a pan or grill and fry the patties for approx. 3–4 minutes per side. In the last minute, place a slice of cheddar on each patty, cover the pan briefly so the cheese melts perfectly.
Halve the mini burger buns and toast them briefly if desired. Spread the bottom halves generously with BBQ sauce. Now layer a romaine lettuce leaf, the meat patty with melted cheese, and a slice of tomato on top. Place the top half of the bun on top and serve the mini burgers immediately.
Chef's tip
For an extra crispy touch, you can spread a little butter on the inside of the buns before toasting them.
