Preheat the oven to 200 °C top/bottom heat (180 °C convection).

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the bacon on it. Cover with another sheet of parchment paper and weigh down with a second baking sheet so that the bacon becomes nice and flat and crispy. Bake in the oven for approx. 15 minutes.

Remove the top baking sheet and paper. Bake the bacon for another 3–5 minutes until golden brown and truly crispy.

Chef's tip

Lightly roll up the noodles before filling so that the sauce doesn't soak too much into the bun.

Do not press the hot dog buns too firmly so that they retain their shape.
