- 180 g mini burger buns
- 480 g mini beef burger patties
- 100 g sliced cheddar
- 50 g romaine lettuce
- 150 g tomatoes
- 60 ml barbecue sauce

Heat the grill or a pan strongly. Fry the mini burger patties in it for approx. 3–4 minutes on each side. In the last minute, place a slice of cheddar on each patty, cover, and let it melt for approx. 1–2 minutes.

Meanwhile, slice open the mini burger buns and toast them briefly if desired. Generously spread BBQ sauce on the bottom halves of the buns.

Now assemble the burgers: Place a romaine lettuce leaf on the bottom bun half, then the meat with the melted cheese and a slice of tomato. Finish with the top bun half.
Chef's tip
For extra crispiness, you can briefly toast the bun halves on the cut side in the pan.
