Preheat the oven to 180–185 °C. Prepare a suitable baking dish (approx. 25 cm x 35 cm) and some aluminum foil.

Pour 100 ml of water and 250 ml of orange juice into the dish. Add the fresh sage, diced butter, and 3 tablespoons of honey. Finely grate the zest of both oranges and stir it in. Cut one of the oranges into approx. 1 cm thick slices and place them in the dish as well.

Roasting & Glazing

Wash the chicken, pat it dry, season generously with salt and pepper, and place it in the dish. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and cook the chicken for 60–65 minutes in the oven.
