Preheat the oven to 185 °C top/bottom heat. Wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly, peel them, and cut or slice them into thin slices of approx. 2–3 mm. Peel and finely chop or press the garlic.

In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese with the egg and one teaspoon of oregano. Season with salt and pepper and set aside.
Prepare the Sauce

Heat 2 tbsp of olive oil in a deep pan. Brown the minced beef vigorously for about 10 minutes until it's crumbly. Add the garlic and sauté briefly.
Chef's tip
For a vegetarian version, you can replace the minced meat with finely diced zucchini and eggplant.
