Preparation of the Dressing

First, prepare the dressing: Finely chop the fresh dill. Peel and finely grate or press the garlic. Mix both in a small bowl with the low-fat quark and season with salt and pepper.

Prepare the vegetables: Wash the tomatoes and cut them into thin slices. Peel the red onions and also cut them into fine rings or slices.

Frying the Meat and Serving

Wash the chicken breast fillets, pat them dry, and cut them into fine strips. In a large bowl, thoroughly mix the meat strips with oregano, smoked paprika powder, chili powder, ground coriander, tomato paste, as well as salt and pepper, until the meat is evenly coated.

Serve the gyros classically with warm pita bread or a fresh Greek salad.
