Spaghetti Monster for Kids

Fill a large pot with water and add the finely chopped spinach. Salt the water and bring it to a boil. The spinach will naturally color the water and later the pasta green.

Add the spaghetti to the boiling spinach water and cook al dente according to package instructions.

Drain the pasta. If spinach residue on the pasta is bothersome, it can be briefly rinsed with warm water.
