Ingredients
- 2 slices farmhouse bread (approx. 120 g)
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 80 g turkey ham (min. 95 % meat content)
- 40 g apple (sliced thinly)
- 20 g Gouda
Preparation
- 1Preheat the contact grill to the highest setting. If no contact grill is available, preheat the oven to 230 °C top/bottom heat.
- 2Generously spread one slice of bread with Dijon mustard. Layer with turkey ham, apple slices, and Gouda. Cover with the second slice of bread.
- 3Place the sandwich in the contact grill and toast for approx. 4–5 minutes until golden brown. In the oven, it takes approx. 6–7 minutes at 220–230 °C until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy.
- 4Remove the finished panini from the grill, cut diagonally in half, and serve immediately warm.
