Preparation method

Bring 2 liters of water to a boil for the pasta in a large pot. Meanwhile, wash and halve the cherry tomatoes. Cut the mozzarella into small cubes and roughly chop the basil. Put everything into a large bowl.

Once the water boils, generously salt it, add the pasta, and cook al dente according to package instructions (approx. 10–13 minutes) over medium heat.

Drain the cooked pasta, rinse briefly with cold water, and let it cool. Then add it to the remaining ingredients in the bowl. Add sour cream, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper. Mix everything thoroughly and let the salad chill in the refrigerator for at least 45 minutes.
