Ingredients
- 400 grams chicken breast fillets (2 fillets)
- 6 wheat tortillas
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 100 grams cherry tomatoes
- 1/2 head green lettuce
- 250 grams cream cheese
- 50 milliliters cream
- 100 grams corn (1 small can)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Preparation of the Tortilla Filling
- 1Wash and dry the chicken breast fillets, remove tendons, and cut into small, bite-sized pieces. Mix paprika powder, salt, and pepper with olive oil to form a marinade.
- 2Generously marinate the fillet pieces with this and let them sit for at least 30 minutes. Wash, dry, and roughly chop the lettuce, then set aside in a bowl.
- 3Cut the bell peppers into small pieces and mix with the chopped lettuce. Drain and wash the corn, then add it to the salad bowl as well. Halve the cherry tomatoes and finely chop the chives.
- 4Stir the cream cheese with the cream and chives to form a creamy mixture. Briefly and gently warm the tortillas either in a pan or in the microwave so they don't tear when rolled.
- 5Now vigorously fry the marinated chicken breast strips in the pan.
Filling the Tortillas
- 1Spread each tortilla evenly with the cream cheese-cream-chive mixture, leaving out the edges of the tortilla. Then fill the spread tortilla with the salad mixture, halved cherry tomatoes, and the fried fillet pieces.
- 2First, fold up the filled tortilla wrap from the bottom, then roll it up from the outside and enjoy immediately.
