Preparing the Tacos
Divide the minced beef into 4 equal portions. Press each portion evenly and thinly directly onto a tortilla so that the meat covers the entire surface.
Heat a pan over high heat and add the vegetable oil. Once the oil is hot, place the tortilla meat-side down in the pan. Fry over medium heat for a few minutes until the meat is fully cooked and nicely browned.
Carefully flip the tortilla with a spatula. Reduce the heat and immediately place a slice of Cheddar on the meat. Continue frying until the cheese is melted and the underside of the tortilla is golden brown and crispy. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
