Preparation method

Cut the onion and bell pepper into fine strips.

In a small bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of olive oil, the juice of half a lime, chili powder, smoked paprika powder, pepper, cumin, and a pinch of salt. Cut the chicken breast fillet into strips and marinate thoroughly with the spice mixture.

Heat another tablespoon of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the chicken strips for about 3-5 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Then remove from the pan and set aside.

Chef's tip

Serve the fajitas classically in warm tortillas with a dollop of Salsa Verde and, if desired, with some sour cream or avocado.
