Preparation of the Potatoes

Preheat the oven to 180 °C (top/bottom heat).

Wash the potatoes thoroughly, clean them, and cut them into slices about 4 mm thick. Line a baking sheet with baking paper and arrange the potato slices next to each other on it.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 18 minutes until soft and lightly browned. Turn the potato slices once halfway through the baking time.

Chef's tip

Baking time may vary slightly depending on the potato variety and season. Make sure the slices are cut to an even thickness.

This dish tastes best when eaten directly with your hands: simply take a hot potato slice and spread some garlic butter on it.
