  • 2 tbsp refined sugar
  • 2 tbsp instant espresso
  • 2 glasses cow's milk
  • Ice cubes as desired

Place the instant espresso, sugar, and 2 tablespoons of hot water in a tall container. Whisk the mixture with a hand mixer or milk frother until a very firm, creamy foam forms. This can take a few minutes.

Place some ice cubes in two glasses and fill them about 3/4 full with cold milk.

Distribute the firm coffee foam evenly over both glasses. Stir gently before drinking to mix the foam with the milk. Your refreshing Dalgona Coffee is ready!

Chef's tip

For a vegan version, Dalgona Coffee also tastes excellent with oat or almond milk. Make sure the water for the foam is really hot so that the sugar and coffee dissolve optimally.
