Cocktail Ingredients
- 50 ml Armagnac
- 25 ml Orange Liqueur (e.g., Cointreau)
- 25 ml fresh lemon juice

- 1 tbsp refined sugar for the rim
- 1 handful ice cubes

Squeeze the lemon. Moisten the rim of a chilled cocktail glass (a martini glass is ideal) with a lemon wedge, then dip it into sugar to create an even sugar rim.

Place ice cubes in a cocktail shaker. Add Armagnac, orange liqueur, and the freshly squeezed lemon juice.

Shake the shaker vigorously until the mixture is well chilled. Strain the cocktail through a sieve into the prepared glass. Garnish with a lemon zest as desired.
Chef's tip
For a particularly fine aroma, use freshly squeezed lemon juice and a high-quality orange liqueur like Cointreau.
