Fill champagne flutes halfway with well-chilled Prosecco.

Top up with equally chilled orange juice. The ratio should ideally be 1:1.

Cut the orange into slices or wedges, decorate the glasses with them, and serve immediately.

Chef's tip

For a particularly elegant variation, you can dip the rim of the glass in some sugar before filling. Make sure all ingredients are truly ice-cold so that the cocktail retains its full fizziness.
