Ingredients
- 400 g broccoli
- 60 g blue cheese (e.g., Gorgonzola)
- 50 g Parmesan block
- 1 egg yolk
- 60 ml low-fat milk (1.5% fat)
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 pinch table salt
- 1 pinch black pepper ground
Preparation
- 1Bring salted water to a boil in a small pot. Meanwhile, wash the broccoli and divide it into small florets.
- 2Once the water boils, add the broccoli florets and cook for approx. 7–8 minutes over high heat.
- 3Preheat the oven to 220–225 °C and prepare a small baking dish. In a larger bowl, thoroughly mix the finely grated blue cheese, Parmesan, egg yolk, 60 ml milk, as well as nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
- 4Drain the cooked broccoli and place it in the baking dish. Spread the prepared cheese mixture evenly over the broccoli. Gratinate in the preheated oven at 220–225 °C for about 12–13 minutes until golden brown.
- 5Remove the gratin from the oven, divide into two portions, and serve immediately. Enjoy your meal!
