Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the whole wheat penne in it for about 16–17 minutes until al dente. Then drain and set aside.

Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 200–205 °C. Prepare a large, oven-safe pan or casserole dish. Wash the red bell pepper, core it, and cut it into small cubes.

Sauce Preparation

Heat the rapeseed oil in the pan over medium heat. Sauté the onions, bell pepper, and garlic in it for about 4–5 minutes until translucent.
