Preparation method
First, peel the sweet potatoes and cut them lengthwise into slices about 0.5 cm thick. Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Preheat the oven to 180–185 °C top/bottom heat and prepare a baking dish (approx. 25 x 30 cm).
Heat 3 tbsp sunflower oil in a large pan. Sauté the diced onion and garlic in it over medium heat for 2–3 minutes until translucent. Add the minced beef and brown it for another 7–8 minutes until crumbly. Stir in the chopped tomatoes, as well as oregano, thyme, and basil. Season generously with salt and pepper and let the sauce simmer for about 5–6 minutes.
Meanwhile, finely grate the Parmesan. In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese with the egg and grated Parmesan. Season lightly with salt and pepper as well.
