Dieser herzhafte Nudelauflauf kombiniert ballaststoffreiche Vollkorn-Penne mit saftigem Thunfisch und knackigem Gemüse. Eine cremige Sauce aus Milch und aromatischem Oregano verbindet alle Zutaten zu einem schnellen, gesunden Mittag- oder Abendessen, das der ganzen Familie schmeckt. Einfach vorbereitet und im Ofen goldbraun überbacken!
Preparation method
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the whole wheat penne according to package directions (approx. 16–17 minutes) until al dente. Then drain and set aside.
Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 200 °C (top/bottom heat). Prepare a large, oven-safe pan or casserole dish. Wash, core, and dice the red bell pepper into small cubes.
Heat the rapeseed oil in the pan over medium heat. Sauté the onion, bell pepper, and garlic for approx. 4–5 minutes. Add the drained tuna, peas, and oregano and fry for another 3–4 minutes. Finally, stir in the spring onions, pour in the milk, and let everything simmer for 2–3 minutes. Turn off the heat.
Chef's tip
For an extra cheesy crust, you can sprinkle 50 g of grated Emmentaler or mozzarella over the casserole before baking.
